I believe that people come in and out of our lives for a reason.
That we are all interconnected in some way, shape, or form.
That we are all capable of being stars in someone else's galaxy.
"Masked by the wings of a butterfly, this image reminds us to feel the world
with all of our senses and not only be blinded by the visuals."
In the summer of June 2013, I was introduced to one of my stars.
She was a new coworker who became one of my closest confidants and greatest supports.
Our friendship was no accident - I believe we met at a time in our lives when we both needed it most.
In short, we quickly became quite the team.
We connected on many things: our love of art & design, crystal collecting, and sarcastic comments to name a few.
We shared stories of laughter, stories of creativity, and stories of inspiration.
We shared stories of paranoia, stories of doubt, and stories of heartbreak.
When our personal relationships began to struggle, we became each other's shoulder to lean on.
There were many of days where I believed her to be the only one I could talk to,
the only one who could understand the capacity of the emotions in which I was going through.
There were many of days where I'm sure she too, felt the same way.
Somehow, we just understood eachother.
This art piece is for her.
Seeing may be believing, but never forget to follow your heart.
